Moving from East London to Brighton our clients, both busy professionals, needed assistance with the refurbishment and extension of their new home.
On this occasion an architect or interior designer was not required, as our clients were looking for a collaborative relationship with the builder to deliver their very clear brief and concept. Acting as build consultant we advised on the technical and compliance requirements, produced detailed design drawings for construction, indicative build costs and project management.
The drawings we produced included general arrangements, elevations, integration of the structural engineering design, drainage plans, staircase sections, bathroom and kitchen layouts for the coordination of services, site built joinery, mechanical & electrical systems, reflected ceiling plans, door and finishing schedules.
Following the pre construction stage and successful planning application we coordinated the tender process for a principle contractor. Using our and the general build contractor suppliers we ensured our client received best value for their investment.
