“I love the end result and feel I have a home I can be proud of which expresses my unique style”.
Last modernised in the late 1990’s, this semi detached Georgian house suffered from a poor original layout and required extensive refurbishment. The client wanted to create an interior that reflected their lifestyle and provided a more flexible use of space.
Red Square undertook and managed the entire project from concept to completion; securing planning permission for a modern rear extension, redesigning the lower ground floor, increasing overall ceiling heights and levels of natural light by adding full height glass doors and a large circular skylight. The ground floor was transformed from a rarely used gloomy space to a dramatic family dining room, perfect for entertaining and with direct access to the newly landscaped garden.
The final outcome was a home with a magnificent mix of contemporary finishes incorporating the client’s own collection of decorative antique light fittings, wall sconces and chandeliers sourced from all over the world.
